Sesame Street PinballSong

When I was coming up watching Sesame Street, I loved this little song!! How many of you are old enough to remember it? As an adult I was surprised to learn that this is actually performed by the Pointer Sisters! That just makes it that much cooler!

The Pointer Sisters are highly underrated! The deserve way more accolades! They had a ton of hits in the 70's and 80's. I put up a performance of a medley of their hits as well! Enjoy and be wary of these outfits, it was the eighties!! LOL!

"Automatic" was my favorite song from them! For the longest I didn't even know this was them. I thought this song was sung by a guy! Ruth is my favorite in the group. She sings those deep leads on this one! And June needed to run a check on her skirt! I know the guys below her got quite a show! Anita is on the left.

Hey Wilson,

I have to say, I thought this was a guy too, until just this second.

Thanks for the fun post.

Just wanted to pop in and say hello. I can see you've been busy! Good for you.

I've been busy but mostly with Graphic and website design work which is what keeps coming in the door.

Sent out a mailer recently. In the mean time I'll keep working on coloring pages and freebies which seem to keep the kids happy!

Thanks for your visits!

@Ivy-It surprised me too Ivy!! I was so happy to know that it was a group that I was familiar with! I miss groups like this, GROWN, sexy and talented women. The lead singer on this song, Ruth, was a Grandmother when these songs were done! Will we ever see that again?

@Edrian-Hey Edrian!!! Thnaks for stopping in! Staying busy with ANYTHING that you enjoy doing is a good thing! Let me know how well your mailer works for you! Don't be a stranger!

@Jill-LOL! I'm sure the kids nowadays will look back at Lady Gaga and Adam Lambert and say the same thing in their older ages. I'm scared for when the Flock of Seagulls style hair comes back!

@Ivy-Yes Child!!
